Going to take a break from the writing for a day or so. Take a long motorcycle ride somewhere, find a campsite, and reboot the cognitive processes. While the bulk of the book is done, what is left is the narratives of Henry Briggs and his Arithmetica Logarithmica, some expansion into Euler’s proof of the series that converges to e, an treatise on imaginary numbers.

However, perhaps s break is needed to recuperate a bit.
