Geometry and our 3-D world

We live in a 3-D world. A world that we step out into, and walk through, and explore. We have to come to grips with using Geometry to interact with out world “every minute of the day.” We need to know about shapes, because they’re pare of the ordinary daily interaction with out world, as we wake up, getting ready for school, come back home, enjoy the view, or ride our bike. Geometry is probably a big part of our everyday vocabulary with common objects such as squares, rectangles, circles, cubes and prism and an infinite variety of shapes in our reality. Our world view can be very different for each of us, knowledge of Geometry helps to breed diversity and appreciation for our world.
