This song is made up of pieces of “Michael Row the Boat Ashore” and “When the Saints go marching in,” along with various lyrics that have their origins in the slave South of America. It is a dedication to America as we are severely split on political and personal levels…and then there is the controversial figure Donald Trump. We should be building now, not tearing apart. I pray that we will be able to work together as Americans and one day here the trumpet play for both and all you and me.
